What is it?

The Batch Tracking Manager monitors product pipelines and calculates the whereabouts of products inside pipelines. With this information OMM checks if movements will result in contamination and MAS determines when a product switch has to be made for pipelines. The main functions of the Batch Tracking Manager are:

• Allows for scalable configurations
• Handles multiple equipment types (valves, pumps, tanks, flow meters, etc.)
• Provides real time information of the product whereabouts in pipelines
• Calculates and monitors interface volumes between batches
• Operates fully independent
• Integrates fully in the off-sites application suite

Like all other modules, the Batch Tracking Manager is fully configurable. This ranges from simple topologies with a small number of pipelines (e.g. pipelines from the harbor to the tank farm) to complex topologies (e.g. pipelines from the harbor to the tank farm together with the whole tank farm). Because of our platform independent strategy it is highly connective and it will run on virtually any platform.

User interface

The user interface gives the operator an overview of the equipment managed and allows zooming in on details. One of the most appreciated windows is the pipeline view which shows graphically the contents of the pipeline(s).
