Introduction

Until now Control System Vendors developed their software within the limits of their own hard – and software restrictions, resulting in expensive packages that depend on specific features that might, or might not be available in the next release. One package proved to be better then the other.

This is not necessary anymore!

We as Off-sites specialists now have developed a hardware and software platform independent suite that fits on your control system, whether it is a simple PLC driven system or a DCS/FF system from whatever vendor.

How do we do it?

We make good use of existing industry proven standards for our developments, and use third party modules (e.g. drivers) where necessary. Main technologies are:

  • Java
  • OPC connectivity
  • Oracle, SQLServer database systems
  • Crystal Reports reporting software
  • Various open source products like the Apache web server
  • SAP

The development in the last decades towards industry standards for connectivity software has paid off. Our suite is available for you! Independent of your present control system. This will enable you to not only select the best Suite in town, but it also protects your investment because it can easily be ported to your next control system leaving your MES layer intact.

Resulting flexibility

So if you have a Honeywell, Yokogawa, Fisher, ABB, Siemens, Foxboro, or any other process control system, and an industry standard LAN, you can now use the Off-sites Application Suite to address your specific Off-sites and reporting needs!

The current release of the suite itself is supported on:

  • Microsoft Windows ( XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2003 server, Windows 2008 server)

Due to our history we can also directly connect to Foxboro I/A series systems and Wonderware based systems.
