Emission Monitoring available as module in the off-sites application suite

Tank emission calculations are now available as a module in the off-sites application suite. Prior to this the emission calculations were available as part of the Tank Inventory System. The Emission Monitoring module performs real time tank emission calculations according the standard AP42 of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Where today a variety of manual calculation tools (spreadsheets, Tank4.0.9b of EPA, etc.) are used the Emission Monitoring module provides real time calculations. Manual re-calculations are supported to react to invalid tank data such as field measurement failures or invalid product identifications. All manual calculations are identified as such resulting in reproducible and auditable emission calculation results.

A permit management function monitors applicable permits in real time and alerts if a permit will be violated before the permit end date when the emissions continue at the actual rate. This allows for adjusting the tank usage, preventing the violation to occur.

The introduction of the Emission Monitoring module is yet another step in keeping the off-sites application suite continuously up to date with market demands and technology standards.
